About the Breed
Cavapoos are a great family pets and known for their affectionate and friendly nature. This breed combines the loving nature of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the hypoallergenic fur and smarts of a Poodle. They love human interaction and enjoy playing with their people. They are extremely friendly and adaptable dogs that get along well with young children and other pets, and make for great therapy dogs.
Cavapoos will live between 12-18 years, and are generally healthy puppies due to their hybrid genes. Hybrid vigor occurs when breeding two unrelated purebred breeds that don’t share common health issues (Cavalier and Poodle). This cross-breeding gives their offspring vibrant health benefits that allow them to enjoy longer life spans than purebred dogs.
